[F] "WINDOWS" Phone Scam

Today I got a phone call from someone claiming that my computer contracted a virus and it is at risk. To the untrained ear the alarming news is too frightening to ignore. But when the caller said they would remove the entire virus for a small fee I started to get suspicious.Who the hell are these people? How would they know something happened to my computer? So I asked what company she was calling from. She claimed to be from Windows XP service center. Okay but I was still not convinced so I asked if they know what my IP address is but she could not say anything.I said if they could tell  what happened to my computer they must know my IP address. I asked for more information but she wouldn't tell me. My suspicion is confirmed. Obviously, I am being targeted by a fake virus phone scam.(Why didn't I realized that beforehand?)screamed at her and slammed the phone down.
After a few milliseconds she called me again. It took about 6 good SCREAMS and SLAMS to get rid of this stupid person. :/ The whole situation really pissed me off especially since the stupid phone call woke me up from a nap.
I heard these people would also ask if they can connect to your PC and might also plant other stuff on your computer and steal some information. Well the basic guidance is to be suspicious when people call you from put of the blue. Why would Windows be calling you directly anyway?o_O
Out of the 7,000 people contacted, more than 1,500 had been tricked into following the caller’s instructions. Worse than that, the average damage to a victim’s bank account was $875 — which amounts to just over $1.3 million hoisted from Microsoft’s small sampling alone. 19% of users also had passwords compromised and 17% reported identity theft."
WOW.. O__O

[F]Unhappy?

Before I call it a day, here's a few thoughts that I'd like to share. :)
Happiness does not exist on the other side of the world, not in the past or in the future. It is within you, yourself. The problems that we may come across might be hard to deal with but in the end, it is the sufferings that make us strive for happiness. We must understand that things go wrong but we should not fear it instead we should challenge ourselves and our weaknesses in order to become a better person. The sufferings we face in life can be compared to swimming in a river while the water flow moves towards you. For someone who is not trained properly, every meter will be filled with pain and sufferings. While for someone who is prepared, who is constantly training, it will be a thrilling journey;beautiful scenery always comes into sight.

[F]Senioritis ALREADY?!

       Senioritis is a disease that strikes Seniors.It can hurt a high school student's chance getting into a college they wish to attend. It is contagious and it happens naturally like diarrhea.D: The symptoms are;

  •   Skipping class a lot
  •   Excessive wearing of sweatpants
  •   Not making it home for curfew
  •   Incomplete assignments
  • "Ohhh, who studies for a math test anyways"
  •   Resenting taking hard classes
  •   Tardiness
  • I didn't do it either"
  •   Struggling to get up early

It's only been two weeks since school started but I am already so done, it's insane. I am one of those people who claim to have had 'senioritis' since junior year(well minor case).  I was actually planning to make this year better in regards to that, but apparently the plan fell into a huge sink hole.Today I realized that I am starting to slack off. I have worked hard for three years;studying for tests, completing projects and late nights doing homework. It is really tempting to just get through college applications and relax for the rest of the year before heading off to college, isn't it?(Wait! NO, I shouldn't) I should keep in mind that slacking off in school do more harm than good. Although your goal is in sight (graduating from high school and getting into college) school is not over yet and colleges are still paying attention to your senior year.( Many college application require you to list your senior courses including information about course levels) MAKE YOUR SENIOR YEAR COUNT! :)
